Gwangjang Market

Celebrating its centennial in 2005, Gwangjang Market is the oldest fabric market in Korea offering a wide variety of fabrics that meet the needs of all of its customers. Every day, it bustles with merchants from across the nation. The button shops on the 2nd and 3rd floors are a paradise for shoppers looking for vintage items. Over 80% of the vintage products in Korea are sold here and since everything is wholesale, items can be purchased at lower prices.

World Cup Mall

The Sangam (Seoul) World Cup Stadium that was built for the 2002 FIFA WORLD CUP has an another name, the World Cup Mall, and it is Seoul's representative shopping / entertainment space. The mall contains a large discount market, multi-screen movie theater and over 100 clothing and accessory stores. COEX Mall

Under the World Trade Center Seoul, this huge mall (about 30 acres) stretches from Samseoung Subway Station to ASEM Tower. Along the underground labyrinth are a variety of amenities and facilities, including Lake Food Court with ethnic restaurants, Event Court for concerts and dramas, Game Champ, Megabox Cineplex, COEX Aquarium, displaying more than 40,000 fish of 600 species and dozens of large sharks, and the Kimchi Field Museum which contains extensive Kimchi displays such as recipes, techniques, etc.

Jungbu dried fish wholesale market

Jungbu is a dried fish market located at the far end of the traditional market area stretching from Gwangjang Market to Bangsan Market (www.bangsanmarket.net) the area is well organized with each alley devoted to a specific items such as dried croaker, dried laver, and dried anchovies. With about 1,000 shops, the market is the largest of its kind in Seoul with about 15,000people visiting every day. The prices are 20~30% lower than at Namdaemun or Dongdaemun Market. This is a great place to buy gift boxes of dried laver, dried seaweed, or any type of dried fish.

Bangsan Market

From ingredients from making chocolate to bread machines, you can find everything you need for the kitchen at Bangsan Market. Dongdaemun Market

Dongdaemun Fashion Shopping Mall Town has all of the latest fashions trends which attract many fashion -conscious shoppers. Even though they are part of the traditional market, the malls are actually more like department stores. You can check out the fashion trends and get some great bargains. The malls are open late for late-midnight shoppers except on Sundays. Check the shop's business hours in advance as each shopping mall may be closed on a different day.

Itaewon

Itaewon is one of the most popular shopping districts in Seoul, particularly among foreigners. The densely packed shops in the area sell leather clothes, T-shirts, suits, watches, bags, shoes and accessories.

Myeongdong Shopping street

Myeong-dong shopping street is the most famous street of Seoul, it is located very center of Seoul.  It takes only few minutes to go to Mt. Namsan and Namdaemun market by walk from Myeongdong. You have a chance to buy mid to low priced product, like clothes, cosmetics, and accessories in small shops on the street. When you visit Myeongdong, you can see a lot of photos and post cards of Bae Yongjun and Choi Jiwoo etc. They are celebrity of Korea, but they are more popular in Japan, especially Japanese middle ages women. Also, large shopping mall, like Lotte, Shinsaegae department store, FOREVER21, KOZNEY are situated in Myeong-dong Shopping street.
